Took out the old handgun last weekend and ran about 50 rounds through it. Have to keep in practice and you need to shoot at least 100 rounds a month. At least that's what the teacher said. Anyway I was cleaning up the beautiful, well-built, a - tool - and using an old T-shirt. Guess what - It use to be a favorite T-shirt of mine - it says: Celebrate Freedom - Read a Banned Book, with a bunch of banned books listed in the middle. Got it from some liberal, public-radio catalog.

I want to start my own T-shirt with a modified logo:

CELEBRATE FREEDOM - BUY A HANDGUN.

Pictures of famous handguns would adorn the middle portion of the shirt. This would be on the FRONT of the T-shirt; thus you can stare the wimp-ass liberals right in the eye as they read your statement of freedom /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif .

Anyone else think this a good idea?

Good slogan and idea, but I don't wear anything with a gun logo on it and a lot of gun owners likewise avoid advertising. I have a drawer full of gun rights group car window stickers if you want some. I don't want a thief to think there are any , er, freedom aids in the car to steal. /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif And in a bad situation, someone may figure you are more likely to be armed. Don't show your cards.

"Don't show your cards."

Words to the wise HDPM. Thanks.

There was some satire to the post. /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif

"There was some satire to the post."

Don't worry, I know. But I took it somewhat seriously because I have been to gunshows. And I know you would sell a lot of those shirts at a gunshow. And I know who would wear them if their favorite NASCAR or patriotic eagle shirt was in the laundry. And they might not see the satire of your post were they to come across it. So the satire of it kind of wraps into the reality of your proposal in an odd but true sort of continuum. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

It's things like this that give pro-gunners a bad name.
