$100+15 with $100 RB NL tourney. Blinds are 50-100. Third level. Not likely I will change tables anytime soon. I have about 4000 in chips and have been raising quite a bit, especially in the CO and CO-1 as these proved fairly good targets.

I get 82o in the CO. The button is a solid player who will likely either reraise me or fold. The SB has a bad habit of looking at his cards and then holding them in such a way that he is going to muck. The BB has 650 left after posting the blind.

Despite the flames I'm entitled to for doing so, its folded to me and I raise to 300. Button and SB fold, BB calls.

Flop is Q-9-2 rainbow and BB executes the all-in stop and go for another 350 to me.

Pot is now 1000, 350 to call.

Call or fold? /images/graemlins/confused.gif I actually think I am ahead with bottom pair.

You either have 5 outs if villain has a stop and go monster like 33. Or you're ahead.

It's a call because you caught a piece of the board and are getting 3:1 in the pot and only need to be 25% in the hand. I think your chances are way better than 25%, but don't kid yourself, your still way behind villain's range.

I might reconsider donking it up with 82 after being an active player, from one of the most likely stealing positions, against a short stack who is probably willing to gamble. Just a thought though.

I think you've got to call in this situation.

I agree from an odds/outs standpoint this is a pretty easy call.

But what about having to table this 8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 2 /images/graemlins/club.gif trash face-up???
