By my math it will take 25,000,000 hands to get into this! Anyone know an easier way?

Pay a lot of rake (multi-table $3/6 full or higher for many hours), and they'll bump you up early. For example I got bumped up with only 500 points.

ya, you apparently should play like TONS the very first week you create your acct. for a quick bump up.

Or else, you need like a full week of MASSIVE rake generation / epoints.

Your math is off...

Well, the math is correct the way you did it, but that isn't the "correct" way to think about it.

Example :

I could play 100 raked hands for 500 days (50,000 hands) and get 5000 VIP points.

The way their system is set up, it discourages long sessions.

People have told me the best way to gain points quick is to play SNG's.

I see. I wonder what would be the fastest way to do it.

Cool. I'll probably put in 30hrs of 4tabling 2-4 this week and see what happens. Are any of you guys in that Royal Flush Club? That 10% deposit bonus every month on top of your reload seems like a sweet deal.

They just email me and bummed me up. I am not sure how many points I had but I figured i Played about 3000 hands this weeks at 5-10 6 max

You will get in for sure if you do that for maybe 2 weeks. All you get is 5000 EPs (good for a $50 cash credit) and some other lame BS. Their Royal flush bonuses are nice, but will take a long time to get there.

It only takes 5000 hands. Of course it will take you ~15 years.

The VIP club is good for SNG players and people that play lots of tournaments in the same day. SNG are linear and multis are squared compared to the sqrt of the raked hands.

For some reason I muti-tabled there 40 hours a week for a year and never got bumped. The I lost 800 dollars in a week and got the email that said I was bumped. Some people are bumped there first week. I's pretty arbitrary.

Empire’s EPoints is hugely skewed towards MTTs frequency.
Once you get to VIP status, the formula goes 2x^2 where x=number played.

If you play 12 tournaments in 1 day you’d collect 288 points just for the tourney frequency. And if all those were $20 buyins you’d get another 24 points for that.

By contrast, playing ring game can’t come close: for example 6-tabling for 12 hours would earn you around 115 points.

So play marathon days of MTTs, and play alittle ring game each day.

if only i didn't suck ass at MTTs. and also, i don't think i've ever seen an MTT in my price range (sub 20) that has enough people to fill two tables.
