MP1 is a tight player, MP3 is a very loose passive player.

I think I have a very aggressive image at this table, I think the tight players at this table noticed this and started playing back at me more.

was I right to give up on the turn? I planned on just check folding to any aggression.

I'd bet the turn because I might have been able to fold the tight player's KK. Plus checking basically = I give up, take the pot.

It's a scary turn card but I still would have bet the turn. No guarantee that either has a flush or an ace, I'd stay aggressive until proven otherwise. This is the way I'd play it but I'm not sure if it is the CORRECT strategy. Curious to know what others think.

I'd just like to point out that (A) the MP who capped PF is not the one playing back at Hero post-flop and (B) OP should've stopped the action on himself on the turn. Knowing that the MP flop aggressor checked behind on the turn will severly skew the responses.

I'm curious what you think a good hand range is on the turn for MP1 (a tight player who capped PF and then check/called 2-cold and a 3-bet on the flop)?

Hero 3-bet the flop and check the turn. It shows the others that the turn is a big scarecard for him. MP3 will have just a 9 a lot of times and I like a bet on the turn if MP1 will fold KK.

Perhaps he was going to checkraise then saw MP3 raise and decided to call.

Edit: I also want to mention betting the turn is the last I'll put in the pot.

the tight player is also quite aggressive. So I found it weird that he would cap preflop and then check the flop, he could be slow playing or going for a checkraise. When the Ace came on the turn, I couldn't think of any hands that I beat where villain would cap preflop. I'm also worried about Mp3, he is loose, but to call 3 cold he must have some sort of a hand as well.

I think Mp1 capping range is AKs, AA, KK,JJ, maybe AQs too if he thinks my reraising standards are low. But all the info I have on him are from PT and a few marginal hands where I seen him play very aggressively in steal situations.
