With your flush and straight draw on the flop, and possibily an overcard, i like to be very aggressive, especially early in a tournament.

Although you play is fine, and perhaps the best play in many situations, espeically if you have a lot invested in the tournament, i also like playing it very aggressively. Perhaps had you raised on the flop you could have either:

1. Won the hand there
2. Build a bigger pot and disguise your draw, therefore getting paid off better if you hit.
3. Bet the flop aggressively, and lose the 50/50ish shot at hitting your draw and lose some additional chips.

So taking an analytical approach, say #1 happens 20%, #2 40%, #3 40%, and you generally win 100 on #1, lose 250 on #2, and win 1000 on #3, then this is very profitable.

Hopefully im making sense here.

Sometimes I wonder if one of those silly min check raise plays might actually work here. What if you just juice the pot by doing a small cr to 60 on the flop? Does it give too much away? Would anyone actually fold to it (and does it matter)?

I guess I'm thinking in a limit tournament the checkraise is great here, but in NL it's hard to pull off something comparable despite your pot equity. My worry about being too aggressive on the flop with a larger cr is that only the best hand out of your opponents' will call, and then you miss the turn and have to play out of position in a rough spot.
