This book is about Enron. I have read about 220 pages, out of almost 500. It is excellent so far, and well written. It gives a good play by play of what actually happened, but also gave a good idea of what the iduvidual people were like. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it.

I really liked "When Genuis Fails" about Long Term Capital. 500 pages seems a bit long though. Does he stay on target or meander.

he stays on target pretty well. however, its long, the pages are pretty high density. and some of the stuff takes more than one reading, stuff about the deals they made and how the seperate funds they set up worked. Im a smart guy, and i had to reread a bunch of stuff a bunch of times.

I've been recommended the book you cited, Im gonna read it soon.

random edit- the most interesting part of this book is the personal profiles they gave of Lay, Skilling, Fastow, etc, plus the general corporate atmosphere. these people were smoking some serious crack.

I might skim through it at the library. I'll see if my campus bokstore has it.
