Although this isn't normally my standard play, I think it has some merit. What do you guys think?

i'm not a fan, personally. you risk giving a free card to lots of hands that you're ahead of, and pay 2 bets for less information than getting raised by button, IMO.

I think button could be playing a flush draw or any pair exactly this way.

You could be ahead or drawing live getting 8:1...and folding.
