Is this a fold or do I have villain dominated enough that I have to call this?

Who is Villain? Sane/Aggressive?

I think this is a call.

He is tight but we are all obviously desperate for chips.

icm: if you fold, .173.
call and win, .2933
call and lose, .079

so solve for x where .293x + .079 (1-x) = .173.
.214x = .094
x = .44, so you need to win 44% to call.

so according to icm, it's a trivially easy call. i don't see any reason why icm totally falls apart here, so i call.

(if you call and lose, it will almost certainly be folded to you in the SB next hand, where you'll push for 325 total. if the big stack wants to preserve the bubble, it's theoretically possible he'll fold [but i've never seen anyone do that]. this would make it even more of a call.)

How can you even consider folding this?

I'm pretty sure this is a call.

Would someone tell me if I'm doing this right, because I'm still iffy on ICM:

Fold: 880 or 7% of prize pool
Call and win: 1835 or 14% of prize pool
Call and lose: 325 or 2% of prize pool

So you need to win 37% of the time to make this neutral. (37% X 14% + 63% X 2% = 7%)

And I'm almost positive against shorty in the SB, you're closer to 52% to win, not 37% (you can check in PokerStove).

This would also imply a calling range as loose as A9+, 55+ (is this >37% against a loose pushing range? you can check).

What am I doing wrong in my ICM below? Help would be appreciated.

And in general (I know this has been posted, but it'd be nice if someone could tell me off the top of their head):

What are good loose, moderate, tight pushing ranges for poker stove? I think I've read A9o+ and 77+ for tight?

Why should SBs range be as tight as A9+ 55+? Id be pushing any 2 in his spot. And id call w AJ

I meant a CALLING range as loose as A9+ and 55+, not a pushing range. I would likewise be pushing with any two in SB's situation.

Lets say that you were as equal to the big stack and he was pushing any two at this point this would be a fold? correct?

If Big stack was pushing.... If Small guy who can't dent your stack is pushing, you fold.
