Ok, I've been playing poker consistantly for about 6 months now. I play both ring games and tournaments. My issue, and I'm wondering if some one can shed some light on it is this- in ring games I get a pretty normal mix of hands and am a winner more often than not. In the tournaments it seems like (no matter which website) I get dealt a extraordinary amount of crap hands- seriously bad and end up not even being able to bluff really. To make sure I wasn't completely mad I kept my hand information from the last two on-line tournaments I entered. In the first tournament I was dealt two pairs (66 & 88), no big slicks, 2 x KQs and 5 2 "11 times" out of a total of 67 hands? The rest of the hands were mixes usually 10 2 types. In my second monitored tournaments I had an even worse result- playing 78 hands I only got cards above a 9, four times total?? Is this normal, I'm starting to think something is off......or maybe I'm off? /images/graemlins/smirk.gif
