My profile on Empire is female, and this guy started calling me a lucky whore cuz I drew out on him for a $10 pot or something. I decided to challenge him to a heads up and it was over in about 5mins, me up $50. Dyou think its good to play on peoples egos/attitudes, and try and get them to a private table?

I would never challenege someone, but if I was challenged, and I thought I had a good chance against them of course I would do it. That's the whole point of poker, to pick out +EV situations and go for them.

Only problem is, when villian wins a few lucky pots straight away, he'll happily leave the table up $100. He's not gonna hang around for things to even out in the long run.

True. Its not something I would actively seek out myself. But if you play it careful, try and get the bigger stack, and then go for the kill. If villain kept topping back up to the max and he seemed like a good player, I would consider quitting very quickly.

this comment is irrelevant and non consequential.

to OP, I never do, as normally the players who make these types of challenges are LAG's, who's style is more condusive to heads up play. I just assume let them sit at my full ring game so i can wait for a good hand and filet them nicely.

The idiom you're looking for is "I'd just as soon..."

Oh, and I agree. Head's-up rewards LAG, and I play too tight for that. So I'll take their money while they're tilting at my current table instead.
