Early in a tournament.
Dealt 99 in the SB. 5 players limp to me. I call, the BB checks.
Flop comes K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
I check... everyone else checks.
Turn comes 9 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
I bet 4xBB 2 players call everone else folds.
River is 2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
Im affraid of the flush draw i check, the player next to me bets the minimum, cutoff folds and i call.

Obviously I should either bet the river and fold to a strong reraise. And if i decided not to, I should c/r the player next to me right? But the wrong thing to do is just call his min bet. I misplayed it didnt I?

Should have raised preflop 3xBB, and lead out on the flop with a bet 3xBB.

A 3x BB bet on the end in the situation you left yourself in isn't bad. It's still quite possible that neither are on a flush draw.

LOL, I completely missed that too.. I didn't even realize the board pair'd.

LOL, Gotta re-raise the river.. There's only two hands that beat you, and he's got neither.

See what happens when you refuse to keep that little card with the hand rankings next to your chips? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
