So it's officially the last day of June and I think it's time we share our results. If you posted in there, quote your original goals, and then let's hear the results. I'll go first:

It is starting to get really good now, I'm still reading it. The book started off kind of slow, and I just didn't pick it up much, but was on a plane today, and now I'm into it.

I did recently go through a 25K breakeven streak, then lost 70BB and now I just blew out of it over the last 10K winning at a 5bb/100 pace.

I missed the original thread. I'm pretty sure my goal for June would have been to move from 30/60 down to 5/10, and to try to work a 200BB downswing into the middle of the month.

I'll count that as 2 goals. So: 2/2.

Q, my post was supposed to be "wry" as opppsed to "pity me". Poker's been really, really good to me over the last 18 months. I've had hobbies/passions my whole life and suddenly I have one that pays me more than most people make at a full time job.

I have no complaints and am trying to look at June, and my first major downswing, as another step in my maturation as a player (and it helped that I was reading Inside the Poker Mind during part of the month!).

Played and destroyed 4/8, wasn't much 6/12 at MGM while I was there.

- Play well at a tourney in Vegas

I played ok, too passive early.

- Clear a bonus exclusively at 1/2 6m (without losing the bonus in the process)

I don't think I cleared a bonus this month, but don't remember.

- Value bet the river more.
