Maybe this was well known already, but I hadn't noticed it before. Check out the all-in guy making a rebuy DURING the hand. WTF.

If you start the hand with 1500 or under, then you are allowed to rebuy any time during the hand. 1000 or under if the starting chip count was 1000.

So what you're saying is, I'm an idiot? Fair enough, that matches up with how I've been playing lately. I didn't notice his starting total, I only looked at the final pot size. /images/graemlins/blush.gif /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Part of me still thinks it's a bit of a loophole though. Say you're playing in one of the $100 rebuys. Toward the end of the first hour, and your stack is right at the rebuy level. With the ability to wait to rebuy, you can wait until your stack is all-in, to see if you're a huge favorite, before committing more money for the rebuy.

Kind of silly, but I think that if your hand is live, they shouldn't allow you to be able to shoot that angle. At my table, the guy was proud of how he added the extra t1000 when I asked him about it.

I do this all the time actually. If it looks like I am going to lose I wait and do the auto 2 rebuys after the hand. I see no problem as it is a rebuy after all. Or don't you want more money in the prize pool?

Worse is that you can do this at CASH GAMES on Stars... unless they fixed that?

(Look at Hallingol on the 10/20 NL tables.. he usually has a 10K+ stack, and it's not because he's really good at flopping sets..)
