Since they haven't put up the schedule for this week, it's unknown what's on tap for tonight. The usual game the past few Wednesday nights has been limit, hopefully 30/60 instead of 8/16 like last week. With several of the usual announcers in Vegas, who knows what member of the Bike's staff gets the honor of describing the action.

It's 30/60. I'm heading there right now...let's hope I actually get a seat.

DANG! I listened for a bit and thought there was only one commentator. But noooooo.

How long will George have to play to make up the big bet that he missed on the river? You catch a dream card and dont bet. Why?

Is there a point in wearing sunglasses in a limit game? How valuable can a read be at a table like this?

After listening for about 10 minutes, I think that neither of them are very good at limit. I don't really know how to play NL, especially at anything larger than small stakes. Is their commentary on the NL game just as poor?

What is George's post name on two plus two?

New here on this site, live at the bike is awesome. I think watching this will help my game alot.

Great commenting, it would be great if you give me a shout out. Just say YoungOne.... cool

Case in point. "HANK, you bet into the flush?" I guess we shouldn't bet KK on an AK984 board when the 3-flush hits with the 4 of diamonds.

And, note to the commentators, I'm not trying to be an insulting ass. I think they do a pretty good job because they have to keep the commentary going through all of the boring parts of unedited poker. I basically was just saying they seem to comment on NL poker better than limit. Also, in response to proper commentary being berating all of the horrible plays, well, that's the beauty of limit, at least to anyone who plays it properly, or even close to properly like myself.

That's funny, because the other day, people were talking about classic NES games in OOT and Dragon Warrior came up. I googled the game and was actually thinking of using one of the villains as an avatar. I was thinking of one of the skeletons or wizards.

I think it's pretty funny that george is eating right by his chips. lol

I wonder if that gives him a edge...

what do u guys think?

Seriously, i'm new at poker. I wouldn't dare eat at the table yet...

The belief is that when you eat at the table, your game tightens up considerably.

What I like to see:

- less freezeouts, more cash games
- as high as stakes as the Bike can get a game going
- NL is preferred but I personally don't really mind limit all that much
- stud is boring to watch, PL omaha could be fun

Kevmath
06-29-2005, 10:39 PM
It's harder to have the high stakes cash games with the WSOP going on, I'm sure when that ends and when Legends starts, there will be trying to get as many high stakes games broadcasat. With the size of the screens, PLO is pretty hard to show all the cards.

Game "I" would like to see.

Bring in a name pro, the bigger the better (not physically, but in name). lol

Have him/her take on all comers heads up freezouts tournament style, blinds etc, etc, for 100, 500, 1000. for several hours.

Seeing the cards of a pro playing heads up would be alright, but only if you guys comment, NO, I repeat NO Shirly Rosario!!

Jive Dadson

These players should eventually learn to check and call when heads up with Grace. When the woman had JJ and Grace had AJ, I wouldn't have been surprised at all if Grace bet every time she was checked to.

Show more higher limit games or the very smallest limits. 8-16 is interesting with that one guy in there. What is the smallest limit or no limit game that is spread at the bike?

I think George started with 10 stacks (2000) not 1000 as I remembered seeing early on (but I did start seeing the feed 20 minutes later). He lost about a couple hundred on some hands during the break.

OK, Don't take this the wrong way, I missed the first 3 minutes of the broadcast, apparently that's the only time you tell people who you are?

So I ask who are you? Jennifer? Jennicide? Do you work in the cafeteria when you are not commenting, tournament staff, prop players?

The guy...No clue what your name is (srry bro).

I think they should add a small pic with the names of who is commenting each night, on the side of the page where the live broadcast is? Maybe?

You guys could do a little more "Your watching live at the bike with Blah and Blah?

Since she didn't give her last name (Bankston), it's not Jennicide. They could include pictures/bios on the L@TB website so you can at least know a little something about the commentators.

Vicki raises lp, i cc in the sb with KJo. Flop is AKx. I check call. Turn is a K. I lead, she calls. River is a blank. I go for a check raise, and whiff.

I'm just a stupid internet player not adjusting for live play conditions. I learned after about 2 hours that she is probably the last person I should be checkraising, since she gives lots of free cards and does not value bet thinly at all.
