I want to do something positive. I graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts (3.9 GPA). I can assumably do above average on any graduate level college entrance exam --although, oddly enough, mathematics is definitely not my strong suit.
I do not want to, for lack of a better explanation, "work my way up the corporate ladder". I would like to do something positive/that "helps" others/etc. Im sure you get the picture. Of course, I do not want to make 40-50K for the rest of my life either.
Assuming spending a few years in a graduate/JD/MA program is not out of the question, what suggestions would 2+2 have?

Join the Peace Corps or something.
C'mon, if you really want to do something seriously positive, it's not that hard to find something.

Otis, I seriously disagree. It is hard to find something that is both extrinsically and intrinsically rewarding.

If I had it to do all over, I would go to law school and become a tax attorney. I think keeping people's $$$ out of the hands of the government is noble work.
