Not a scam, He sent the $$ to me via Pstars 1st, I then sent his PayPal transfer. Unless you can figure a way he can get the $$ back from Pstars I have a hard time seeing how I can be scammed...

If you don't mind possibly being involved in a money laundering scheme...

He could have funded his Stars account with a stolen credit card, or had chips dumped to him from someone else with a stolen card.

Regardless of how it turns out, you need to be MUCH more suspicious of money for nothing, online or off.

Ok, maybe this one is genuine, but...

As others mentioned it could be credit card fraud (and the site will take the money back from you), it also could be a scam where he's working the middle against two suckers...the marks think they're trading with each other when they're really exchanging money with the scammer...or maybe it's a setup, he does one deal for real to get your confidence and then asks you to do another trade in the future (for more money) and rips you off then...or some combination thereof.

It's certainly nice to help people out, but we've seen this happen too many times and try to protect those who don't know any better...

It's obviously Al-Queda laundering money $100 at a time.

Maybe both of them are in on it to build confidence for the real suckers.

The management of this site still refuses to instantly delete or lock these stupid threads.

Yet, they will edit said posts and warn responders of the pitfalls.

This just smacks of utter stupidity to me.

But then, what do I know?
