Hand 287 - Schmiech has the button, unknown preflop betting. The flop comes 10c-6h-4h, Schmiech bets $20,000, Kaplan raises to $40,000, and Schmiech calls. The turn card is the Qc, Kaplan bets $40,000, Schmiech raises to $80,000, and Kaplan calls. The river card is the Js, Kaplan bets his last $40,000, and Schmiech calls. Kaplan shows Q-3 (pair of queens), but Schmiech shows 10-6 (two pair) to win the pot. Gabe Kaplan is eliminated in second place, earning $222,515.
Dan Schmiech wins Event #28 ($5,000 Limit Hold'em), taking home $404,585 and a coveted World Series of Poker bracelet.
