Event #2, $1500 NL.

400-800/a100.

Fischman has ~12k and limps in EP. Folds to my buddy who has KK in the SB. he has ~8k and raises to 3k. BB folds. Fischman moves in. My buddy thinks for 90 seconds and as he's about to call, Fischman says to his neighbor "I think i'm drawing real slim." My friend calls and Fischman has A2o.

River Ace.

Fischman says "sorry man, nice hand."

My friend said he immediately thought of me and said "thanks, cockbreath." which is what i say to ppl online when they suck out sometimes. the SB spit out his drink.

Fischman went on to finish 2nd in the event.

So its an 11K pot and your friend has to call off his last 5K and he's holding kings. What was he thinking about, Vegas and the f-ing Mirage?

I would be thinking of Lindsay Lohan pre-crack addict diet for 89 seconds and the poker hand for one second.

And this Fischman guy is supposed to be good?

He is drawing almost as slim to 33 and 44.

This is a guy who had to think for a minute before calling with KK. I have a feeling 33 and 44 might have hit the muck.

with an m~6, i'm pretty sure that harrington would not advocate for such an out of control move at this point...

The thing that is tough in reading about hands like this is that you never know what lead to these actions. Did your buddy fold to reraises a couple times in similar situations? Obviously he was read as tight.

I don't believe this story. Sounds like a hand versus a fish rather than Fischman. Fischman wouldn't limp in early position for 1/15th of his stack with A2o. He would fold to a raise rather than make a push which is sure to be called.

I agree. This story sounds bogus for many reasons, that amongst them. He also wouldn't show his hand to anyone and say that before the other player has called.

Well if the guy did indeed take 90 seconds to figure out if he was behind to AA with KK before calling then Fishcman would most certainly have pegged him as weak tight prior to this hand. But if he's really weak tight he wouldn't be raising without AA-JJ or maybe AK here anyway and he should know that. I also doubt this hand retelling is accurate.

weak tight is different than tight, i agree there are probably inaccuracies.

I'm pretty sure that I hate all of you guys that doubt the accuracy of the hand/story. It is 100% true. Cockbreath.

Your buddy must have played real weak-tight, since Scott found such a move +EV
