This game is so simple yet it is sooooooo much fun. Get a few friends and load this game up, hours upon hours of entertainment.

If you have played it, what is your favorite weapon?

If you haven't played it, when are you buying it? cuz its a must

also... i got 12:08 on the single player Ninja Rope challenge... gotta be #1 in the world /images/graemlins/cool.gif prob not, but my friends were impressed.

Where can I get this? I was looking for it a little while ago and for some reason, I came up empty. I must have this game.

ebay most likely -- I think you'll end up paying around 30-35 bucks ... but damn I think it's well worth it.

Make sure you don't get worms 3D, that game blows

Yeah, one of my problems was that I didn't know exactly which one I wanted. The last time I played Worms was undergrad and that was about... holy [censored]... 5 years ago. Anyway, it looks like it could be had for $5-$10 plus S&H. I really wish I could pick it up or download it somewhere, though, so I could have it for my roadtrip coming up this weekend.

I tried the bargain bin section of Best Buy thinking it might be in there for $7 or something, but no luck.

I'll put the Holy Hand Grenade just above the Banana Bomb and they're both awesome, but I'm a big fan of the sheep.

Alright, I've found a couple places where this can be downloaded (here (http://www.terragame.com/action/166.html) and here (http://www.acid-play.com/download-trial/worms-armageddon/)). Does anybody have any experience with www.terragame.com (http://www.terragame.com) or www.acid-play.com (http://www.acid-play.com)? Are these places legit? $20 is a bit much for a game this old, but it is worth it.

Also, the officail Team17 (http://wormsarmageddon.team17.com/) webpage says specifically that it's not for WinXP (here (http://wormsarmageddon.team17.com/main.html?page=good&area=demo)), although it looks like there's a beta for XP.

Alright, I found it on Download.com (http://www.download.com/Worms-Armageddon/3000-7490_4-10393463.html), which I feel better about. I'll post a trip report when I get results.

I've tried these 3D worm games that came out after Armageddon... they just don't do it for me. It's supposed to be a simple game -- the 3D game took all the fun out of it for me.

Worms Armageddon remains my favorite

Alright, kids. I got it.

Downloaded from download.com and installed. As soon as I installed it, it gave me a warning that it wasn't intended for my operating system, but there's a patch. I click OK and it automatically goes and starts downloading the patch, I install it, and I'm good to go. It looks good. I was even pleasantly surprised that it supported 1920x1200 (WUXGA) screen resolution. Everything works great, except I don't remember the controls. I played the 20-minute demo and then registered it. It was quick and easy and I've got Worms Armageddon now. It was $19.95 plus an optional $3.95 for 'download insurance', which I guess keeps a copy saved for you on their server for 16 months. Now I've just got to work on getting back my excellent Worms skills.
