I suspect the villainous ss is trying to steal here based on his past behavior, but I don’t think he makes a play here with complete trash. I’m getting over 1.6 to 1 on my call. Is this call a good play or a leak? I wasn’t sure what the correct play was in this spot, so I erred on the side of aggression and called.

Calling an all-in is not aggressive. Unless you have reads this is a fold. You are behind any PP and any A, you are most likely taking the worst of it, and you have a big stack that you can use to push people around. You can find better spots.

BB is desperate w/ 5xbb's, folded to him hes pushing anything. You loose you still have a decent stack, and I'm sure you have the best hand now! Good call!

Folding this is weak. Short stack is likely pushing a wide range. KQ is good enough here. You are getting 1.6:1 on your call and you are closing the action. You only have to win this 38% of the time to break even. KQ is about 45% vs PP and 40% vs an A. If you win you bust him and accumulate his chips. If you lose its not that big of a deal to you.

I'd call this. With the size of the villains stack, there's even a chance that you're actually ahead.

I agree, it is VERY important to understand your opponent. Is he loose or tight. If loose then call, if tight then fold.

Yeah, opponent probably needs to push a pretty wide range to make this profitable. Any sane opponent pushes that range, but a lot of your opponents aren't sane.

Same here. If he is bad he might be pushing worse. If he is good he might be pushing worse.
