Folds, I think. 89o is definitely not good enough here, unless your opponents want to give this pot to you (meaning they fold a lot).

is it ever okay to push this hand? to preserve FE, because SS needs to be aggressive to get back in the running (i think i read that in harringtons book). and i think i read on this board that if i get called by a high pocket pair that a medium drawing hand (better suited of course) is one of the favored hands to have.

Having at least one overcard is way better than a medium connectors. Bottom line, running into an overpair is disastrous.

I don't push here. I'm not sure about the math behind it, but my gut tells me that pushing here kinda sucks.
