he's actually been doing very well this series (for a guy who reads 4 cards straights as winners, that is), if you havn't noticed

I don't think she's very good. She accumulated a lot of chips by going all-in often with the worst of it. She might be better than Lawson, though.

I'd be willing to bet that Jennifer Tilly would know she didn't have a straight when the board was 10-10-7-4

The funny thing is, he keeps cashing in this year's series, while you're posting on a computer at home.

What are you talking about? He clearly sucks, they showed two hands on ESPN where he made THE WRONG PLAY. Only a bad player would misread the board, or play the bottom full house that strongly!

From those two hands we can clearly tell he is a giant donk who will never win another dollar in poker ever again!!!

Actually, at the end of a long tournament, some players do make mistakes out of fatigue or other assorted reasons. For example, according to his excellent book The Making of a Poker Player, Matt Matros relates how he was eliminated after completely misreading his hand and going all-in with what he though was a straight draw semibluff.

I would like some input from someone who has actually played with Lawson for an extended period of time before I make a judgement that he is clearly an idiot.

Nope, good players NEVER make mistakes, only lousy players do. If you make a mistake you are the biggest donk ever.

I'm surprised more people haven't been commenting on Joe's performance in the WSOP so far.

And as far as misreading the cards, I've done it, Phil Ivey's done it, so I think maybe it's time to give it a rest.

So yeah, she probably will be the "worst player" of the bracelet winners this year, but who gives a [censored].

No dude, Annie Duke clearly said that poker tournament organizers force them to pick cotton while they play tournaments they paid for, then whip them and sell their children to owners in a different parish.
