Without a read, I fold. 87s is just not a good hand to go all-in with, and the limper will call here somewhat often because they hate being stolen on.

I think it is a fallacy to think a limper is less likely to call then other players. It is the other way around. And when he does your 87s look horrible against his range.

Besides this, I think limping with monsters is coming back into fashion (which is reasonable since so many players push with such big ranges these days). I see it quite often these days.
