Welll... I'm bust in 15th. ouch. I WON the last one, and i'm damn near last in this one. gaddamn variance. I honestly didn't catch ONE SINGLE card that helped my starting hands, and the one pot i won was on a total bluff. geez, i suck.

What a great tourney. That Andy could not go away. He had to have been All-in at least 10 times in the first 90 minutes, and now he's playing heads up for the win.

Tournaments... bleh.

I was playing my A-game and it showed for the first 35 minutes or something and then I started flirting with this chick at the coffee shop and lost my stack chases lows in between witty comments. Lots of fun though. I think we should have a private cash game freezeout next time.

After Andy's great comeback ironiclly it was he who got drawn out on on the river. Nice game everyone. We'll have to do another sometime. Congrats to Trace for taking first

I'd like to think i do, anyway... but it's okay. my record in these SnGs so far: One 4th, one win, and one second-to-last.

Hi all, I had fun donating even if I can count the number of times I've played stud/8 on one hand.

Is this hand sensible? My read here was that seat 6 had cranked up his aggression in this table full of tighties. I'm particularly wondering about 6th street and the call on 3rd.

3rd, call, raise, whatever.
On 6th, you want him to fold if at all possible, so bet or c/r based on what you think will make this happen. Betting is better since you have a probable lock on low with lots of scoop outs, and giving a free card would be pretty bad.

Andy B
06-29-2005, 01:26 AM
I would lean towards completing on third and betting on fourth. Fifth is a definite bet, though. Nice hand.

Andy B
06-29-2005, 01:42 AM
Fourth is a fold. I would tend to bet fifth, but the chicken-call is fine. On sixth I like either a bet or a check-raise. The river bet is fine but realize that there isn't a lot of value in it. He probably isn't folding after coming this far, and he could have you beaten on the low side.
