Congrats, that is a nice take! Gotta start somewhere. My career hilights are:

- Made deal in step 5 Party tourney heads up for $7,000 win (from step one $12 buyin)

- Won Absolute's first 25,000 ARP freeroll to win $1,500

Nothing jaw dropping, but I liked the money /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Using a $100 party bonus where I had the money in my account, but couldn't cashout till I played X hands. and didnt feel like playing X hands, I proceeded to get a 2nd, followed by 5 1sts in $100 sit and gos in a period of 2 hours. Too bad it'll never happen again /images/graemlins/frown.gif

It was utter luck and short term variance fyi.

Congrats! That will buy a lot of sandwiches with french fries on them. I got lucky at Interpoker last night and took first in the $4,000 guaranteed - for a very nice score of $1,020. Gives the BR a nice lift.

One of my very first online experiences:

Turned a $25 deposit into $1200 in 3 days of ring play on p-pages. At the time, I thought that this was the easiest thing I'd ever done.

Little did I know...

$5100 at placing barely in the money @ Party Poker for Millions

$1300 at Party 15/30. I post big blind at late position, I find myself with 97o. 6 people limp, guy on my right raises, i call. everyone calls and MP 3 bets, original raiser caps. preflop capped between 9 people. flop top two pair, someone turns a straight, i spike the 7 on river.

On a similar note, what's the biggest pot you've won with a trash hand like 97o.

I have had a good year...won the party super Monday for 25.5K, then a WSOP seat on UB, then the party super Tuesday for another 26K. The first two just about gave my wife a heart attack when I burst in on her at 3am. By the last one, I was casual about it... /images/graemlins/grin.gif

online poker $170 multi table tourney first.

$2300 Phillies to win NL pennant at 23-1.
$1600/$1400/$1200 at Backgammon tournaments
$1500 NCAA Basketball bracket
#1200 trifecta at age of 14

Quickest in FLorida, only had $100 bills on my vacation, went to simulcast to get "change:. Bet $20 at random I like the name at 12 to 1. Won wire to wire, I made sure I was paid in $20s. Change problem solved.

WSOP ME seat, second would be a little 1K guarantee tourn on Bodog. Nothing eye popping since I rarely play tournaments. Hmm, maybe I should play a few since ya know, that main event thing is coming up soon. 'Stosh

Biggest Tournament take: First in a $22 on Stars a few weeks ago for $3000 (winner actual took $3455 but we made a small deal)

Biggest Hand in a Ring Game: Yesterday at the .50/1 at Pokerroom. I had KQ /images/graemlins/heart.gif and the flop came AT3 all hearts. People betting and raising like crazy. Turn and River are off color duds and I have the stone cold nuts. Two guys go all-in before me. I gleefully call. Turns out those two guys flopped flushes as well. Final Pot: 360

Won a $5 entry fee MTT with around 800 people for about $875.

Won a $15 MTT with almost 400 people for $1500.

Both at Pacific...where even a weak player like me can win MTTs. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I was 5th in in Friday night tourney at Party for $12480. This was the same night that I went to lunch with a fantastic lady. I was hoping that the big win and a great date on the same day would have been a nice story to tell everyone when they asked about my first date with her. Unfortunately (for me at least) that was also the last date with her /images/graemlins/frown.gif

I won a WPT seat + $1500 off a $3 super satellite. The second "step" was a MTT with $100 buying and 250 players, top two got seats.

I also once won a freeroll with ~1500 players for about $300 or so. I know the money isn't much, but beating 1499 players (freeroll or not) is gratifying.

$5,000 for taking first in Pokerroom's $20K guaranteed -

$20 entry plus one $20 rebuy and one $20 add-on (both I which I used).

There were 650+ entrants - I played really well but I also got extremely lucky at a few key points (probably goes without saying).

Tourney: $140 in one of those 1am (ET) freerolls at The Gaming Club back during the original OIC (I finished like 5th).

Pot: ~$250 at 5/10 flopping the nuts is cool.

Session: $730 at 5/10 (not shockingly, the same session as the above hand)

That's some pretty weak sauce, now that I look at it.

I played a 20 hour session at MCC in Detroit yesterday, in the 10-20 limit game. Was up a cool 3K. Six stacks of green looks nice when I have the entire table combined covered /images/graemlins/grin.gif

A 34BB pot (23BB profit) @ party 15/30 with AA that made Aces full against a flush, trips, and a few donators.

This hand was the highlight of a + 120 BB rush one long Sunday evening.

I enjoy online limit tournaments. A few hands into each tournament, SNG or MTT, several people type, "XXXX! I thought this was NL. I hate limit." Then they start raising every street until they have given away all of their chips.
