15+1` Turbo on Stars

A few things to begin with, the big stack in the SB was a complete donk and instead of using his stack to push people around was making ridiculous calls and giving his chips away. Several hands ago I pushed with KQ UTG and he called with KT on the button. Knowing that I had a very good chance of being called by him or the SB what should I do here?

I'd Fold. It seems silly to push here with BB almost out.

Well I think I fold here. You obviously don't have any fold equity with the BB -- he has to call (unless he really is a complete donk). And with a hand like yours you're at best 60/40.

Not to mention the fact that, as you've said, the big stack keeps making calls -- you may well be up against two hands here with an allin, hoping your ace-rag holds up. That's sort of a bad situation to be in. I let this one go.

Is there a rule that says you have to push or fold? Why can't you just call here if SB hasn't been aggressive? Lure BB into putting the rest of his $$ in before you push.

Because calling with 5x BB is generally dumb, and begs SB to push over the top of you forcing you to fold.

And because FE is really important here, and you have none when you limp.

I don't see how FE is important when SB will call with just about anything and BB will too. OP also said SB was not being aggressive.

Do I really wanna risk 1/3rd of my stack though racing versus the BB when the SB could do that for me by simply putting him in (which a smart player wouldn't do, he would pound the rest of us for chips but the SB was very far from smart)

To tell you the truth I am not sure. I was just trying to figure out a way to get in the pot with the BB. I'd definately like to make it to the $$ ASAP because with SB to your left you cant make any moves, you cant gamble until BB busts out. If you leave it to SB, then its 50/50. Hero likely has a better hand than SB.
