Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t300 (3 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Hero (t4700)
BB (t3210)
Button (t90)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif.
1 fold, Hero raises to t900, BB calls t600.

Flop: (t1800) Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)

Is this a push with any two on the flop?

Just push preflop

I think there may actually be more value in the 3xBB raise, then push any flop here. The BB is going to have to really freakin nail his hand to find a call here -- he's virtually assured second if he just relaxes and lets the Button go out.

So, to answer the OP, yes.

I feel like the blinds too small to push preflop. With the 900 raise, I can fold to an all in pre flop and if I just get called, then I still have a ton of leverage on the flop to push with.

I just started playing tournament poker a week ago. Is my thinking off here?
