are there any good podcasts or is it all fairly ghetto (i.e. joe's opinions on the world and skynyrd covers show)? any sites that specialize in high quality podcasts?

A lot of the Clear Channel radio stations are doing podcasts. But what would you consider "good"?

examples of good podcasts:

if The Economist had a news podcast, that would be good.

if pitchfork had a new bands to check out podcast, that would also be good.

if WBGO had a jazz podcast, that would be good.

i don't know what pitchfork is, but there are lots of new band podcasts out there. I'm not really a podcast guy, but I've read that's one of the big things for promoing new bands.

Card Club on Lord Admiral Radio (http://radio.weblogs.com/0142180/) is a rockstar, high quality (content & engineering) poker cast.

Phil Gordon's wsop podcast (http://www.expertinsight.com/_Podcast.html) is interesting too.

Podcast Alley (http://podcastalley.com) is a searchable podcast listing site...
