I won't have access to Stud for Advanced Players by Zee for a few weeks. Is the chapter on Stud in SS1 good enough for the time being?

Chip Reese's chapter is good, but I find it most relevant for games where pots are usually played 3-way or heads-up. At the very lowest limits on-line and in a B&M, where everyone stays until 4th street and half the field stays until 5th, you will most likely get killed playing Reese's style (especially his play of premium pairs). Then again, you will also build some huge pots to take down if everyone misses their draws.

But I would definitely advocate reading it.

It's the second best book/section of book on stud that I've read.

i agree. chip's section has good stuff in it, but it is geared toward playing in tigher games

I don't think that Reese has any advice that will get you killed in any game. That section is very good. It's just not as good as 7CS4AP.
