with 2 callers it seemed likely that somebody hit there flush, so I checked waiting to see what happened. He went all in very quickly which led me to believe he didnt have it, so I ended up calling.

Newb to the forum so take it with a grain of salt-

Timing tells are pretty worthless, don't rely on them. You checked to see what happened and he went all in for quite a bit more than the pot. The pot is small enough you could throw out a bet of 150 or so and fold to an all in. Once he goes all in to your check I don't think you can call. Plus with another player in he's more unlikely to bluff the flush than if its heads up. Lucky river.
