Trying to work on the tightness. I figure I am against 77-QQ who does not want to give me any free cards.

I don't think you have to call at all there. However, I really don't mind check/raising on the flop instead.

Check-raising all in?

Fold. You don't need to risk your stack at what best is a coin flip.

I like your line. This is exactly how I'd play this hand, except my standard level 1 raise is 60-65. I'm pretty sure I'd bet this flop (about 2/3 pot), and I would definitely fold to his all-in bet.

What sucks is that it is a +CEV call unless he flopped 2 pairs or better.

I think 55 is a good possibility here.

I generally like the line, but would open-raise pre-flop to at least 60+.

Here, you should probably fold, due to a greater edge later. Additional possible hands include 45s and 78s, and the ones that really hurt would be 43 and even 64. Open-raising more than 60 pre-flop helps cut these down.
