This is clearly a thinly disguised good beat post.

i've done this before 8 tabling, you just look at a hand real quick and hit check fold without checking stack size

Prophecy is bogus. They got me at 48 too. I wish.

Well, it's an easy fold for me. I don't see the problem. When some maniac is attacking your chips all the time, you have to wait for a great hand. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well, it was my only win in 35 tourneys today, so that was pretty cool /images/graemlins/mad.gif

He actually thought for a while and then typed in the chatbox "this is not a misclick" and then folded...

yeah.

Maybe he decided that you were someone he was going to play against a bunch later (or he wanted to play against you) and decided that this was a $5 advertising play?

probably like a 10 dollar play, but i highly doubt he is advertising. maybe 1 in 50 times.. holla

I doubt he's advertising either, but it ought to be less than a $5 play if he is, no?

I know ICM gets weird when you get down below the blinds but 185 chips are worth $151.85 and 1370 chips are worth $162.25. One has to assume that he's got a bad hand and wouldn't be a 50/50 shot even against a random hand. Make him a 60/40 dog. Then the $EV of call is $154.90 and this is a -$3.05 play. Even if you were to make him a 50/50 shot then this is a -$4.28 play. Even if ICM is grossly overestimating the value of 185 chips (and assume they have no value!) then for this to be a -$10 play he'd have to be folding a 82% favorite. If you assume the 185 chips have the extra $1.85 dollars than for -$10 he'd have to be folding a 96 or 97% favorite. And even AA vs. A9o isn't that much of a favorite preflop.
