I have been playing poker now fro about 2 1/2 years and have primarily played only PL Omaha 8 for most of the time with pretty good results. Lately I have been playing the NLHE SNG's at Party and am looking for some feedback on my play.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

MP2 (t375)
MP3 (t620)
CO (t1095)
Hero (t775)
SB (t740)
BB (t1300)
UTG :#A500AF(Villian)/ (t1560)
UTG+1 (t760)
MP1 (t775)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG :#A500AF(Villian)/ raises to t80, 2 folds, MP2 calls t80, 2 folds, Hero raises to t200, 2 folds, UTG :#A500AF(Villian)/ calls t120, MP2 calls t120.

Flop: (t622.50) K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
Villian bets t325, Hero folds.

Turn: (t947.50) Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)

River: (t947.50) 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)

Final Pot: t947.50

I don't know whether to:

a) call in this situation and if I'm checked to bet it especially with maybe only 1 overcard on board

b) raise like I did and let it go if bet into and there is an overcard on board

c) the countless possibilities that I haven't listed above

Thanks for the input,

Tom

Without any read I would fold preflop.

I would fold preflop. Perhaps I'd call, depending on the situation.

Also, if you were going to raise, 200 doesn't cut it. You're giving far too good of odds to both to call (which they did). Now you're in a huge multi-way pot with 99 (not a good place to be). If you were going to raise, you should have made it about 300-350 which is a huge portion of your stack, so you should have pushed.

But folding preflop is most likely the best line here.

Level 1 fold PF. This will, as it did, bleed chips off over the long run.

This is a fold pre-flop. You can limp with this hand, but you're not calling an UTG raise, let alone re-raising it.

Post-flop it's an auto-muck in my book.
