3/6 at Party Poker. Extremely loose, fairly passive table.

I'm dealt K /forums/images/icons/heart.gif J /forums/images/icons/club.gif in the cutoff. Two EP's call, I call, SB folds, BB checks it through.

Flop: J /forums/images/icons/heart.gif 2 /forums/images/icons/spade.gif 7 /forums/images/icons/club.gif

EP1 bets, EP2 calls, I raise, both call.

Turn: 6 /forums/images/icons/club.gif

EP1 bets, EP2 folds, I raise, EP1 calls.

River: K /forums/images/icons/diamond.gif

EP1 bets, I raise, EP1 calls.

Anyone care to guess what EP1 had? Also, comments on my play are welcome.

I'm never good at these, but I could only hope that he had
J 6 suited.

Most players will check to the raiser on the turn if the turn doesn't help.
I guess the 6 must have helped him.

Why he bet the river I'll never know.

Hey Homer, well played hand. I put him on KJo.

He had K-6 off.

Easy, 2-7 off for the flopped 2pr. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Same hand as you or some other 2 pair hand. K /forums/images/icons/club.gif 2 /forums/images/icons/club.gif may be a possibility.

I've seen people play AA this way on more than one occassion.

Thanks for the comments so far. Does anyone question my play of the hand?

I'll go with J6s for EP1 and I think your play of the hand was fine.

You played exactly how I would have played. As for EP1... he's either trying to protect a weak pair, or he picked up a second pair with the 6 on the turn. Either way, he's toast.

I'm guessing 27

My opponent had QJo. I made sure to take a few notes after this hand.

You played it perfectly.

He had: K /forums/images/icons/club.gif 2 /forums/images/icons/club.gif , KJ, , AA

That was a fun one. After I posted my K-6 guess, I remembered K-6 won that hand and it wasn't against you. K-6 guy had about $250 when I sat down. Went over $500 ($530) in about an hour, and was back down to $50 in another hour. He was right behind me and was great for potbuilding checkraises when I hit my hands.

Hmmm, you were in that game, ehh? What's your name on Party so I can avoid you? /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Lorinda checked out our table. You asked if she was the one from 2+2. I asked if you were Homer J. Simpson from 2+2.

No reason to avoid me.
