Forum Problems

As most of you probably observed there were some problems with the forum over the last couple of days. I believe that I have addressed them and things should be better now. I will continue to monitor the situation.

For the last two days I have been unable to log in at around 5AM eastern. Is the system backing up then?

We spent additional time today trying to improve forum performance and correct problems we've been having. Hopefully things will be better tonight at the high load times of 11pm or so Eastern time.

There was a worm affecting SQL systems last week. Perhaps this site was a victim.

This site is not powered by Windows...I have not seen anything that indicates we were vulnerable to the "slammer" worm.
