Preflop: What can you do? I suppose the call was okay. Get mentally ready for the flop.

Flop: Here's where you botched the hand. You need to lead out with MORE than a half-pot bet here. There are 2 to act behind you and you cannot give proper odds to the flush draws. I might bet 90-120 and probably closer to the 120 end.

The rest of the hand plays differently, but you have a chance to fix you error on the non-scary turn. Fire!

I would fold JJ in SB to any raise at this point in the tourney. BB may come along, you know MP3 will call 90% of the time. This leaves you stuck out of position against 2-3 players. Even with the decent flop that came here, you're left in an awkward position with two players behind you.

Since you did make the pf call, why the 1/4 pot bet on the flop?

the call is fine, but what are you looking for on the flop because if this isnt it...well i dont know. Bet more raise more find out where you are at, I dont think you learn anything by calling or by betting 40. If you lost this hand then you probably deserved to by the way you played. But hey, at least it was only half your stack and not all.

I was, apparently, too glib earlier.

He raised with Axs, 88 or 99 or a bigger pocket pair. You dont know him that well. Actually, you do not know him at all. You have the 4th or 5th best hand in poker here with three undercards on the board. When he re-raises, void a read: PUSH. I do the same with TT.
