Am I right that a bet other than allin is wrong here?

Yes raising is wrong you are going to want to push here.

"When you would be raising 30% or more of your stack, go all-in instead." is a pretty good rule of thumb.

yeah, I tend to go with the 30% (sometimes a little higher) rule too unless trying to trap. The add-on question was silly of me. I was more interested if some people would fold this, as I think it is fairly close. If I had 3-400 more chips, what then?
