Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

The SB is just a tad loose, but fairly aggressive pre and post flop. The button raises a lot preflop, but then gets passive afterwards. I can't figure out what the SB might have had, and the Button is fairly unreadable because he just calls with good and bad hands alike.

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (10 SB) 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 2/images/graemlins/club.gif, 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB raises, BB folds, UTG+1 folds, Hero 3-bets, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (9.50 BB) J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB calls.

River: (12.50 BB) A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB folds.

Final Pot: 14.50 BB

Yeah I think they'll call with an underpair often enough.

For sure bet. A jack is calling, a 2 could call, any other PP might call, and an A will be scared to raise a good portion of the time.

this will depend on your read of the Button. would he cold-call with a hand like KTd or AJo? If he's playing pretty much a large number of hands, you have to bet into him.

How would you feel if you check and Button bets, and now the SB raises?

Even if the Button has an Ace, I'd rather stay aggressive as your opponents who do watch your play will know that you're not gonna check river scare cards for free showdowns.
