I've been playing mostly on party, but wanted to make sure I was playing at the best site for my games of choice, 5 and 10 dollar SNG's. The things I need to find out about are

1. fishiniess of the players (party's pretty good here!)
2. Tourny set up, starting chips vs blinds, and rate they are raised. (I hate the 800 chips at party!)
3. Rake for the $5 and $10 tournaments.... anyone better than party's $1 for each?
4. bonuses for deposits THAT CAN BE CLEARED AT SNG'S!!
5. player points, good software, etc etc..

I have a friend who raves about full tilt, but wanted to see what you guys thought before making a deposit over there.

I've played at ultimate bet and pokerstars. both are much harder than Party. the players are a lot better. much less fishes. The games start with 1500 chips. that and better players add up to a game that lasts at least an hour.
Personally, I think Party has THE best interface. Straight forward, easy to see. Ultimate Bet's is a tad odd. The table is angled and always puts you at the head of it regardless of the seat you pick. A little disorienting for me. PokerStars background is about the worst there is. None of this stuff is very important of course. I've done ok at Pokerstars but I personally like the shorter games at party.
I'd love to hear others answers to this question.

Someone has obviously never played at Absolute. /images/graemlins/blush.gif

The graphics there are so bad that it is an important issue. I have pending bonuses there that I may never clear, and I have lost some bonuses there already, because I find it so annoying to play there.

Stars has just as bad players as Party at the $5 and $10 levels from my experience. It's deeper stacked, so more postflop play in the first 3 levels. After that, it becomes a push/fold fest just like party.

I don't share this experience. After-level-3 Party and PS can hardly be compared. IMHO. What I want to say is - nothing is like Party. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hmmmm there are both pros and cons to PStars and PP. The good thing about PStars is that you can actually play real poker. The blinds increase much more slowly than at PP and you get more initial chips at Pstars. The crappy thing about PP is that after the 4th round or so, it becomes just a push-fest. There's no flop or post flop play...

However, the games at Pstars take a LONG time. I just started doing sit n gos on Pstars after playing lots on PP and an average game at PP is like 45 min, whereas an avg game at PStars is 1h: 15 min.

I've only played SnG's on Full Tilt, so I can't compare it first hand to other sites, but I would reccomend it.

It probably doesn't have as many fish as Party, but sounds like it may be a bit easier than Poker Stars. I consistently finish in the money.

They only have a .50 entry fee compared to 1$ at Party and I would say their interface is the best around, much much better than Poker Stars. Also you start with 1500 in chips and 10 min levels.

One downside is that their is no downloadable hand history, yet.

Poker champs may be fishier, Ive never heard of it, but FTP has the same rake, same starting chips, but better structure. to min levels starting at 10/20, and there is never an ante.

but to each his own.

It seems like I've never read a single thing about Paradise, I'm still pretty new to SNGs but is something up there to avoid, thanks!

I remember reading somewhere that Paradise has a one-table max for SnG's (mini-tourneys).
