I think another point where a lot of people go wrong is trying to add more tables instead of trying to move up in limits.

Before i hit the 215's i never played more than one SNG at a time...

That's FANTASTIC!!!

I've just begun my 1st real set of 500 games (22s) with complete tracking...I definitely won't show the net profit or hourly rate you have as right now I want to concentrate on playing one table at a time, ad naseum tedium to most I'm sure!

Keep it up, give a weekend-warrior grinder like me some hope /images/graemlins/smile.gif

"I think another point where a lot of people go wrong is trying to add more tables instead of trying to move up in limits"

Doubt it. Most people here probally don't play more than 4 tables. Most people don't have the skills to move up too high, and it is easier to add more tables than move up anyway. Most people don't play sngs to become 'masters' but to make cash. Best way to achieve that is decent skill with alot of tables.

"Before i hit the 215's i never played more than one SNG at a time... "

I'm sure your game improved alot but you wasted time and potential income. You could have 4 tabled your way up there MUCH quicker (assuming you had to build your BR) and not be far behind skillwise.

Hey ZJ,

If it wasn't you, but some random poster, I'd say a) the games are probably getting pretty fishy lately, b) good chance you are running super hot, c) you are miscounting your numbers somewhere (forgetting some 100 games you finished out of the money... /images/graemlins/grin.gif).

But since it's you, all I'd say is: excellent results. You probably know how much of it is running hot and/or facing exceptionally weak opposition. I hope you'll succeed in keeping such $$/H for the rest this quest, which will be quite amazing.

TY. Honestly, I'm not sure if I'm running well or not. I've certainly had some super heaters in this stretch, but I've also had a -6k downswing, as well as a couple of other rough stretches.

As for forgetting results, I keep track of the $ in my account, and match up the $ to my spreadsheet at the end of each session to see if I've missed any. I have missed a few, but I went back and entered them in as losses every time. That has happened about 4 or 5 times so far.

Unfortunately that means my exact finish distribution will be impossible to get, but at least all my ITM figures are correct.

Eurobet is allowing people to have more than one account through affiliates. I know cause I am doing this. You download a special program of the client that lets you log into your first account and then you double click on the Eurobet icon again and out pops your next account. It's pretty sweet.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's complicated. Here are a few hints:

You've probably noticed that it is essentially a headless lego-man (lego-knight, actually), or at least: his ORIGINAL head is missing. Well,

"The male praying mantis has arguably the most dangerous sex life of anyone in the animal kingdom. He risks decapitation and death to reproduce. If his mate is hungry, she is likely to snack on her partner's head".

Now, one of the strangest and bizarrely looking Mantids (plural of Mantis) is the Wandering Violin Mantis, of Sri-Lanka. "Nonidana nagaraya" is "the city that never sleeps" in Sinhala (the language of Sri-Lanka), which refers to the loud, drunken, poor, rotten suburbs, in which the Wandering Violin Mantis casts fear into the hearts of everybody.

However, I don't live there at all and never did. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) I'm still at that other place, far away from Vegas (much much more than 6000 km away).

There are many more reasons and stories behind all this. Some are very boring. But it is all too OT I think. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well, he specialises in catching flying insects. And he has this boxing glove hanging from the end of his "arms". And if you know anything about kung-fu styles, some of them are actually imitations of East-Asian Mantids' movements, and definitely of the Wandering Violin's one. All-in-all, we're talking about a very efficient predator. Hence the FEAR.

ZJ,

Do you do table selection?

ie: avoid some players, prefer to sit on a particular player's right, prefer not to sit to a particular player's left, etc?

or just randomly sit as they pop up?

We recently had a thread along these lines on the SNGPT forum.
I argued that too many people multi-table the lower limits
to try to make a buck, instead of focusing their attentions
on a single game in an attempt to improve their play.

But isn't a large part of improvement a matter of experience?
You have to play a large number of hands to improve, and if you 2 you play twice as many hands and twice the experience
in the same amount of time.

Obviously, ther is a tradeoff betweeen experience (gained
through multitabling) and focus (playing one table at a time).

Abel, having worked your way up single tabling, how
do you evaluate this tradeoff in retrospect? Do you still
think that single tabling is the way to go? Or perhaps you
would have gotten there quicker if you two tabled?

Suerte,
Jonathan

Forget the thing looks like an alien and has martial arts styles based on it, focus on the fact that girls decapitate the guys to fertilise her eggs...

"All-in-all, we're talking about a very efficient predator. Hence the FEAR."

So is a highly trained human. The world can be happy as long as insects stay the size they are.
