i usually do the same but i hate this situation so with AK i usually overbet pre to 300 to make the situation easier.

Except for Unarmed, I am probably the biggest hater of the C bet on this forum. But in this case, heads up, with your stack, I'm pushing after the flop check as well. Clearly any bet pot commits you, so it's either check or push. I agree with you that he's probably just a chump that couldn't lay his hand down pre-flop after your raise. You need that pot and likely still have the best hand. If not, you've probably got 6 outs. Push and hope...
