Lots of poker news in todays' Times and Daily News.

1) Daily News has on second page, the reemergence of poker rooms even after the crackdown about a month ago.
2) Times has in the business section, a good article on PartyGaming.com. It details their plans to go public this week on the London stock exchange.
3) Times has an article on Stu Ungar in Sunday Style. Since the book is being released this week, they talk about his life. The usual Sexton sound bite of how Ungar was the best ever is included.

The New York Times also has a new weekly poker column by James MacManus that debuted this past Saturday.

I hate that they put it in the Sports section as opposed to Metro or wherever it is they put Chess and Bridge these days.

No, but it has the image of something very jocky and sporty people do. Nothing portrays home poker better than a garage full of cigar and beer drinking men playing cards while the bears game is on the boob tube.

The Q and A on The Daily News Article was very funny. It looks like it came out of a pamphlet the clubs put out.
