Bellagio $4/$8, strange mix.

I open raise 3 UTG with KdQd, SB (tight player, young guy, plays allot like I do) calls, BB calls.

Flop : AsQc6h

Sb bets, BB folds, I raise, SB immediately reraises, I fold.

I might have just folded on the flop. What's he betting that you beat? The flop is rainbow so no flushdraw, no open ender is possible...he has an Ace at the least in my opinion esp. if he plays tight. I think sometimes this "auto raise" is wasting chips but I can't say I haven't done it myself =). Good fold to the reraise IMO if you play it like you did.

You would 3-bet that flop heads-up w/ AQ? I think you're probably behind to an Ace, though, so I agree w/ the fold.

I would against a preflop raiser I thought would give me lots of action.

I think I must have screwed up the details. At the time, I was positive the only hand he could have had was AQ, and a small possibility that he had AK and didn't three bet, but I don't remember how I knew, which is why I think I screwed something up. Anyway, both of these hands makes it really hard for my hand to improve, so I thought "I'll raise here, because if he re-raises I can let go and not have to worry about the odds.

However, I think just folding without the autoraise may have been better.
