Well, you DO want to protect your hand with bottom 2 and a scary flop, but generally I will go for the C/R in this spot to pick up a few more chips.

I think the call perflop is fine. I don't think this is a good time to overbet the flop for 1/3 of you're stack. It just looks too strong. You want those overpairs like TT to push over the top all in. I'd likely lead out 200.

yeah i thought about that. i was hoping that the guy who raised to 70 PF (at least) would call me w an overpair...

though i guess he prob would have bet out an overpair (or just overcards maybe) if i checked so I could raise him /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

i took the pot btw...

Checkraising a large field with flush draws and st8 draws is very dangerous. You have to be very confident someone will bet, and this guys slightly more than min raise preflop definatly doesn't assure that.

Good point about the weak pre-flop raiser. Acting first with 5 players to the flop I feel pretty confident that someone will bet, but it is close.
