"Why don't you copy this post and change the word poker to job? "

Heh I just watched con-air where steve buscemi lays it out perfectly. Can't remem exact words but basically says insane is working the 9-5 for 40-50 years of your life and at the end of it you don't really have anything. I only play 20hrs of poker a week, and am only doing this until I get enough capital to live (very comfortably) off my investments. They'll take up 2-10 hrs a week.

Excellent analogy, especially considering he plays craps after escaping at the end of the movie, he is basically saying youd be crazy NOT to be a pro gambler /images/graemlins/grin.gif

This reminds me of Doyle in that "Behind the Glory, Poker superstars" I saw the other day on Fox Sports Net. Doyle was talking about when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and giver 3 months to live. Somehow there was a spontaneous remission and the cancer was gone. He said life's too short to not do what he wanted. "And what I wanted was to play high stakes poker".

I'm with him /images/graemlins/smile.gif

This was actually one of his most positive posts. Hardly an attack on anyother posters on this forum, hardly any insults... I think he quitted poker because he was getting to soft.

I expect him to post on the forum no later than september, he should have saved up enough money to start playing again by then. He might chance his username, but his unique (eehhh) style(??) will show us that he is back.

That was an awful long way for him to say "I went broke."
