I know I can't be the only one who thought this games kicked mountains of ass. I loved Arhon. My favorite perhaps the Phoenix.

I was a big fan of the unicorn. I always used to start off by teleporting the unicorn into the opponent's basilisk and then killing his wizard straight out /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Heh, I remember playing Archon on my buddy's Commodore 64 back when we were like 8 or 9 years old... good times, definitely one of the best. It was a combination of Chess and Starcraft.

I loved both Archon and Archon 2. Sweet games. The best was beating the phoenix with one of the pawn characters by bobbing and weaving in and out and hitting it with your club on the tail end of the fire attack.
