I recently came across this situation in a Party $22 SNG and I'd like some feedback on my play.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (7 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)
CO (t565)
Hero (t375)
SB (t597)
BB (t1915)
UTG (t820)
MP1 (t1165)
MP2 (t2563)
Preflop: Hero is Button with 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
4 folds, Hero calls [t375] , 1 fold, BB calls t325.
Flop: (t400) Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif, J/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
Turn: (t400) T/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
River: (t400) Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
Final Pot: t400
Is this an auto-push situation or should I have waited for a better hand? My line of thought was that the SB had been playing very timidly up to this point and probably wouldn't call the bet and that even if the BB called I would probably have two live cards and the straight and flush possibilites, though afterward I wasn't so sure. Any insight is appreciated.
