How much do you loosen up when it gets short handed very early. For instance its level 1 and 6 handed. As a general rule you play tight early but as a general rule you play looser 6 handed. Furthermore you will be hit with more blinds with 6 people and if you wait for 50-100 to loosen up starting requirements you will be in a difficult spot- your opponents will have much larger stacks then you.

You're right, it is a pretty general question /images/graemlins/smile.gif
Generally - if it is 6 handed early on, my tightness or losses will largely depend on:
1) My stack (in relation to remaining and the blinds) AND
2) tightness/looseness of remaining opponents
with a bigger stack, i am much more lible to start becoming aggressive, but that does NOT mean calling all ins so much as forcing them upon the shorter stacks (especially the tighter ones).
With a smaller stack, i play pretty much the same as with more players, except, since there are less players, my overall hand values are decreased accordingly (i.e. KQs becomes a lot better than when 8-10 are left).
hope this helps. post some hands if you want more specific advice.
