I hurt my back a few years ago, but it's been real good for a while. Oddly enough I went to bed early so I could go to the gym. Anyhoo, this morning, I rolled over weirdly in bed, and my upper back (where the shoulder blades meet I guess) is all [censored] up. It hurts bad. It's saturday here in the city; and I'm supposed to have people over tonight and most likely will seek company of a fine lass in the evening; does anyone have any suggestions on how I can feel better? Right now I've got some flexall on it, and I have a heating pad in the house.
This [censored] sucks.

Go see a chiropractor. I did it when i hurt my back instead of going to the doctors cause i'm not a real big fan of medication or back surgery. I went every day for a couple weeks and it slowly got better to the point where i now have a better back than i did before the injury.
Some people are not very fond of chiropractors though. You either love them or hate them.
Edit: I really didn't read the post too well and i just realized that if your talking about muscle pain and not your actual spine then its best to ice, heat, ice, heat all day.

a handful of vicodin and a few drinks work wonders
