It's a $500,000 freeroll. Definitely worth the time/appearance fee.

If FTP can combine this tournament with their coverage on WSOP, maybe they can vault up to just below Stars and Party

wonder why this is occuring during the ME of the WSOP? instead of a day or 2 later.

Good question, but July 13 is probably the only date FSN has for nationwide coverage, being the day after the All-Star Game. I assume if some of Team Full Tilt are still in, they've got people who are capable backups.

The pros won't want to hang around for long after they get knocked out of the big one, so this is probably the best time to get them to participate.
